Green Gateway tools can assist EIB financial intermediaries with allocating green sub-projects under EIB intermediated finance products. But the portal’s tools can also be useful for other financial institutions that provide green loans.

Support to EIF financial intermediaries with sustainable financing
The Green Gateway portal provides support also to European Investment Fund's financial intermediaries implementing products with sustainable and green elements under InvestEU, Recovery and Resilience Facility and other EU centralised and regional mandates.
Currently, the advisory support under the Green Gateway is centred around the EIF Sustainability Guarantee Tool and the Green Guide for Fund Managers. These online tools were developed based on the sustainable and green eligibility criteria outlined in the 'Use Case Document', relevant for the 'EIF InvestEU Sustainability Portfolio Guarantee Product’ and the Guideline on EIF’s Climate Action and Environmental Sustainability for InvestEU Equity Product.

Use the tool to navigate through EIF’s Climate Action and Environmental Sustainability (CA&ES) criteria and to assess whether investment opportunities are compliant with the criteria.
